Munich’s prominent newspaper, TZ, presented Munich’s top doctors in its issue on February 17, 2016. The panel of doctors included Dr. Erich Rembeck, who was interviewed on the topic of cruciate ligament rupture.
“Unfortunately, cruciate ligament ruptures occur very frequently. This type of injury is typical in skiing, handball and football,” says Dr. Rembeck. However, everyday situations—traffic accidents being a common example—also leave their mark on the knee. Dr. Rembeck performs about 300 cruciate ligament operations per year in the associated cooperating hospitals, the ISAR Klinikum and the ATOS Klinik.
