PD Dr. med. Norbert Harrasser

PD Dr. med. Norbert Harrasser is a specialist in orthopaedics and trauma surgery. He also holds the additional qualifications of special orthopaedic surgery, emergency medicine and chirotherapy/manual medicine.

He studied in Munich at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University (LMU) and the Technical University (TU). As part of his specialist training at the Klinikum rechts der Isar in Munich, he was trained under Professors Gradinger and von Eisenhart-Rothe in orthopaedics, sports orthopaedics and trauma surgery. With his specialist qualifications and the acquisition of the foot certificates of the GFFC and DAF, he took over the deputy section management “Foot and Ankle Surgery” at the Klinikum rechts Isar for one year. From 2018 to 2020, he moved to the renowned Centre for Foot and Ankle Surgery (Chief Physician: Prof. Dr. M. Walther) at the Schön-Klinik München-Harlaching as a senior physician, where he was able to apply his skills in the field of minimally invasive foot surgery and ankle endoprosthetics.

With more than 100 publications and his regular work as a lecturer, PD Dr. Norbert Harrasser is in demand as a renowned clinician and scientist. Through his work as a lecturer in the field of orthopaedics at the municipal master school for orthopaedic technology (MSOT), there is also an intensive exchange with colleagues in the field of non-surgical foot orthopaedics.
